Before & After School Club
St Joseph‘s very own out of school club
Welcome to JoJoes where we aim to provide the highest possible educational childcare.
Our commitment to ‘put the child at the centre of everything we do’ remains the main stay after more than ten years of successful operation.
We employ qualified and dedicated staff well above the required ratios in order to assure that we are able to dedicate time and energy to every member. Recognizing that every child is unique, we want to work with parents and carers, to bring out the best in every child.
By planning fun activities aimed at the different ages and abilities of those attending, we teach members to work together and build new friendships. You are encouraged to take an interest in your child’s progress whilst attending the club so please feel free to see any of our team. We hope that your child has an enjoyable and constructive experience during their time spent with us.
JoJoes plans its activities so that they are both educational and fun. Each term a specific theme is selected to link programmes and activities. In addition to the structured programmes there are elements of free play where children can choose if they wish to take part, and opportunities for study and reflection. Some of our most popular activities include
– Football, Netball, Dodgeball, Rounders, Board Games, Home Work Table, Computer Games, Model Making, Sewing/ Wood Crafts, Clay/ Dough Crafts, Painting, Construction, Toys
Now a regular part of our services our very own SuperSports programme offers six or seven week long certified courses in different sporting disciplines, with familiar activities and some new ideas like Dodgeball, all provided by fully qualified coaches.
JoJoes believes that we must all feel fully valued and respected, and that everyone should be treated fairly. These values are built on mutual trust and respect for all. We expect that the behavior and conduct of each individual will ensure that we all feel happy, safe and secure.

Statement of Intent
JoJoes is run as a not for profit social enterprise, any surplus created is channeled directly back into supporting local children
JoJoes believes that children learn and develop confidence and independence in an environment where friendly and approachable staff offer praise and encouragement.
All our staff hold or are working towards a relevant qualification, and all are fully vetted through our updated DBS process. Our club is not a school and families place their children on a ‘there by choice’ basis, however we do take seriously our educational role and see it as a key element of our partnership with the school
