Welcome from the Headteacher
On behalf of everybody at St. Joseph's I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome. I hope you find this website useful, especially if you are new parents, to tell you all about life at our school.
At St Joseph’s, everything we do is rooted in our Catholic beliefs; at our heart is our Mission to live the words of Jesus - ‘To Love One Another’. Our school is a place where faith, values, learning and creativity come together as one. Our Vision is set by following the example given by our Patron Saint - Saint Joseph. ‘Stepping up to achieve excellence’. In order to live this mission, we expect excellence from all - staff, governors, parents and children. We are passionate about learning and opportunities and want to give the best possible experience to our children and families. Our core values - Worship, Opportunity, Resilience, Knowledge, Enjoyment, Respect, permeate all we do.
Contained in this website you will find lots of information all about us; our policies, our vision, your child's education. If there is anything else you would like to know please do complete the 'contact us' section or make an appointment at the office to see me or one of my staff.
Yours,

An introduction from our Head Boy and our Head Girl
Hello, my name is Ava and I am proud to be Head Girl at St Joseph’s. Our school provides many opportunities to help us grow as individuals and I am so proud to represent the school and will do my best to always be a great role model. During my time at St Joseph’s I have had the opportunity to join the choir and taken part in performances at the Liverpool Empire, Liverpool Cathedral and many more. I have been part of the Green Team, taking responsibility for our school and local environment, as well as our class Parliament representative, in which I shared ideas to help our school grow. As well as these opportunities, I’ve gone to tennis club, cross country, football, and had extra tuition to help with school work. All these clubs and wider opportunities have really built my confidence and partnerships with other children, and this is what makes St Joseph’s so special.
My name is Sam and I am honoured to say that I am Head Boy at St Joseph’s. I will try my very best to make our school the best it can be. I hope to be a good role model for younger pupils, and I’m ready to take on any challenges - big or small - to help make our school even better.
The pupils at St Joseph’s have outstanding behaviour, and their minds grow every day as they learn something new. Our School Mission Statement - “Love One Another” is a great example of what God wants us to do with each other. We have so many wonderful clubs such as Green Team, Reading Ambassadors, and School Council. We also take part in a wide range of sports, including football, netball, rounders and many more. Our school also provides exciting trips such as residentials, Chester Zoo and Birkenhead Park.
The teachers at St Joseph’s are incredibly kind and caring and they work so hard for all of us. They inspire us to be kind, respectful and caring too. Over the past seven years, I’ve made so many great memories and met so many amazing people. St Joseph’s will always hold a special place in my heart as I move on to High School. I think it’s safe to say that St Joseph’s is a truly wonderful place to be.
